We have modern equipment and touch screen registers that students use everyday.
Our store and classroom is located in room F118 which is located at the far corner of our school pass the CST offices.

The object is to train students with the skills and knowledge to gain employment in the supermarket field. The program also stresses developing good work habits and job safety. Skills that will be developed are basic entry-level skills in the supermarket and or retail field. Class and Shop Rules Students are to report to class/shop on time and prepared for class/shop. No electronic devices including cell phones, are not permitted in shop class. All students will complete all assignments. Class and shop equipment will be maintained and used correctly by all students. Respect all staff and fellow students. All rules covered in the student handbook issued by MCVTHS. Proper attire is required. Students will wear shop uniforms supplied and cleaned by MCVTHS. Hats are not permitted in school or shop class Closed footwear (no open toed shoes) and long pants/slacks/ skirts must be worn for safety reasons in shop (no shorts/capri shorts etc.) Students must complete and adhere to the school district computer usage agreement in order to use in shop computers. Grade Policy, Student Evaluation and Student Requirements 1.Students will maintain a study guide containing handouts given out by the instructor. The study guide will be kept in shop. 2.Students will be evaluated on the ability to gain good practical use of skills offered. 3.Good effort and the willingness to try will be a large factor in the student’s daily participation grade. 4.A minimum of 4 tests and a final examination will be given to all students. 5.Students will be assigned and complete a marking period project for all 4 marking periods. Project will be worked on during shop periods. 6.Completer students (12th Grade plus) will take SERV-SAFE food safety certification exam as final exam.
